Three Social Work 91̽»¨dents are completing their field placement in David Coon's MLA office, and as a part of their placement, they are organizing the Promoting Change for Youth event.

The event will provide a safe, welcoming space for youth to connect, learn about community resources, enjoy free pizza and drinks, and share anonymous feedback about their experiences. This is a free event, and we encourage the greater community to attend, learn, and support young people’s needs.

The information gathered from this event will then be compiled into a report shared with MLA David Coon to advocate for meaningful legislative change. While this issue has been raised in the legislature previously, stronger community voices are needed to move it forward.

There will be FREE pizza and friendship bracelet making.
