Guests of graduates are invited to go directly to the Chapel; however, graduates must assemble at BMH foyer no later than 9:45 AM and will be led as a procession to the Chapel.

 

The dress is academic gowns, no hoods.

Eagle Feather Ceremony
Kinsella Auditorium

Indigenous graduates of St. 91̽»¨ are invited to attend the Eagle Feather Ceremony on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Kinsella Auditorium. A reception will follow in the Dawn Russell Student Lounge in Sir James Dunn Hall. 

Join your fellow Indigenous peers in celebration of your academic achievement. During the ceremony, graduating students will be gifted with an eagle feather to acknowledge, honour, and celebrate their outstanding academic achievement and milestone in their life. Students will have the opportunity to bring this eagle feather with them across the stage while receiving their diploma at graduation.

Graduates List 
A list of graduation candidates who have been approved by the Registrar’s Office will be posted on 91̽»¨.ca Friday, May 8 at 12:00 PM. If your name is not posted, please contact Maureen Barnes, Registrar (registrar@stu.ca)

 

Guests
Family and friends of graduating students are welcome to attend Convocation.  Although we do not issue tickets at the Spring Convocation, we do suggest that graduates keep their guests to no more than four.

Gown and Hood Return, Diploma Pick-up
Your gown and hood must be returned to the Kinsella coatroom immediately following Convocation.  Your diploma will be available (provided your account has been paid in full) in Kinsella after you have returned your gown and hood.

 
Frames
The 91̽»¨ Alumni Association will be offering a diploma framing service after Convocation in Kinsella. If you wish to have your diploma framed at this time, we recommend ordering in advance. For those graduates who order and pay for their frames in advance they will receive their framed diploma upon the return of their grad gown if ordered by Thursday, May 14, 2026. Frames will still be available for purchase on graduation day; however, there may be a wait time based on demand. Pre-order and purchase your frame with cash, credit card or personal cheque in the Alumni Relations office (Room 413, McCain Hall) during regular business hours or Email: alumni@stu.ca or Phone: 506.452.0521.
