M.V. Ramana is Professor and Simons Chair in Disarmament, Global and Human Security, School of Public Policy and Global Affairs, University of British Columbia. His book, , was published by Verso in July this year. The three discussants are undergraduate students at St. 91̽»¨ in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
- Emma Fackenthall is pursuing a double major in English and Environment & Society.
- Erin Hurley is pursuing an honours degree in Environment and Society and a major in Journalism.
- Kate Haché is pursuing an honours degree in Economics and a major in International Relations.
